If you are an avid journaller, chances are you collect journal notebooks too - which take up a LOT of storage space.
Maybe you have recently found some glorious journals that are only available to buy in PDF format? Printing off these PDF journals can work out quite expensive, especially if you are printing them from a home printer, as most of the journals are super-colourful and ink-hungry.
Or perhaps you travel around, and the idea of having access to your journal at all times on a digital device really appeals ...
I am a recent convert to digital journalling, especially for those glorious PDF journals that my printer (and purse) will struggle to print off to paper.
So ... if you are considering exploring the world of digital journalling, here’s my quick ‘how-to’ guide, to help you make the best choice for you - and hopefully encourage you to dive into the joyful world of digital journalling if you are sitting on the fence, not sure whether to dive in.
In this mini-guide you will walk through:
- what kind of technical equipment you may need
- what you need to consider before choosing your app (the classic 'what you don't know you don't know')
- which digital journalling apps are available
- which apps are best for your personal needs
- how to annotate PDFs on your computer
- how to learn how to journal digitally (and some free resources to help you)
Please kindly note: this ‘how-to’ guide is not exhaustive; it’s been designed to give you a quick idea of where to look, and throw some light on digital journalling that you may like to explore. Digital journalling took me many weeks of trial and error, so I hope to save you some time (and technical pain!) by sharing this guide with you.
