It really is easy: jot down as many quick 'n easy things you like to do - ones that don't require any organisation, or real effort. Things that make you feel full of joy!
And then craft your very own advent calendar with whatever you have laying around ...
So here are my rough 'n ready JOY-full advent calendars for this year ...
✯ JOY-full advent calendar number 1 is a A4 sheet of coloured card full of star stamps in a bronze colour; on each star is a number from 1-25, and each number has a joy-full activity for me to take part in each day. I've coloured in #1 as it is the 1st December and I really enjoyed my joy-full activity - making a JOY-full advent calendar!
✯ JOY-full advent calendar number 2 is making good use of the triple lucky bamboo canes in our studio: each tag is made from watercolour paper, and has a glitter effect on one side. On the under-side is each day's joy-ful activity (exactly the same as in calendar number 1!).
I feel JOY-full advent calendar #2 looks more christmas'sy but I love the simplicity of the A4 sheet of paper. It reminds me of the star charts we used to have at school. Each time we achieved a coloured star on our chart, we also received a Smartie sweetie ... no wonder I equate food with rewards *hohoho*
