6 Types of Boundaries You Deserve to Have (MindBodyGreen)
Creating Healthy Boundaries worksheet
(BJC Learn)
Just as our garden needs tending and some loving attention, so to do our boundaries - protecting what nourishes us and clearing what no longer serves.
For this exercise, you might like to have to hand:
:: paper, coloured pencils or pens, or a digital drawing tool (such as a tablet) ready
This might include:
🌳 trees or flowers - representing what you wish to nurture
🏡 a shelter - representing safety and self-care
🚪 a gate - representing what you allow in, or keep out
🛤 pathways - showing connections to others
🌾 overgrown areas - representing where you may need stronger boundaries
As an alternative for non-drawers: jot down a short description or list of what was inside/outside your garden
